Build
Flooring, tile, drywall, framing and foundation coordination for the work behind every finished room.
Behind the Finish
Cracked tile, uneven floors and wavy walls usually come from what is under the surface. ATX Renovations handles the construction side of remodeling so the finished room holds up.

What This Covers
Some of the most important work in a remodel is never seen. A subfloor that is flat and sound, a shower pan that is properly waterproofed and a wall that is framed square all determine how the visible materials look and last. We treat this stage as its own job, with its own planning.
ATX Renovations is a woman-owned, family-operated and fully insured company. Gazi Kose, our founder, brings 15+ years of hands-on remodeling experience and stays involved in each project. Electrical and plumbing work is done by licensed professionals whom we coordinate with the build.
Scope
These services can stand alone or support a larger kitchen, bathroom or whole-home project.
Hardwood, engineered wood, tile and other flooring, with subfloor preparation, layout planning and clean transitions between rooms.
Floors, walls and showers, including large-format porcelain and mosaic, with waterproofing in wet areas.
New walls, openings, repairs and ceiling work, finished and matched so the repair does not show.
Removing what needs to go and framing what comes next, with care for the surrounding structure.
Opening or moving walls that carry load, planned with engineering input where the situation calls for it.
Scheduling and coordinating with foundation specialists and structural engineers when conditions require them.
Flooring and Tile
Flooring and tile installations fail at the substrate more often than at the surface. We check the subfloor for flatness and moisture, correct problems before materials go down and plan the layout so cuts land where they look intentional. In showers and other wet areas, waterproofing comes before tile, not after.
If flooring is the main reason you are calling, see our flooring installation page. If you are choosing between materials, we explain how each performs in Austin homes, including over concrete slabs, which are common here.
Walls and Structure
Opening up a floor plan is one of the most common reasons for structural work. Before a wall comes out, someone has to determine whether it carries load. If it does, the change typically needs engineering input and a permit, and a beam or other support has to go in before the wall comes down. We plan for that at the start so it does not surprise you later.
For smaller jobs, our drywall repair page covers patches, water damage repair and texture matching. Either way, the goal is a wall that is flat, finished and ready for paint.
Foundation
Central Texas clay soil expands and contracts with moisture, and it can move foundations. Signs include cracks in drywall or tile, doors that stick and uneven floors. We do not guess at foundation problems. When we see signs, we recommend a qualified foundation specialist or structural engineer to assess it, and we schedule the remodel around any repair work.
That sequencing matters. Installing new flooring or tile before a foundation question is settled risks doing the job twice.
Common Questions
Often yes, especially if the wall is load-bearing or contains electrical or plumbing. Requirements depend on the scope and the city, so we confirm them during pre-construction. A load-bearing wall typically also requires engineering review.
We coordinate rather than perform foundation repair. If your home shows signs of movement, we recommend a qualified specialist or structural engineer and schedule the remodeling work around their findings.
Yes. Flooring is a service on its own. See our flooring installation page for how we handle preparation and transitions.
Yes. We handle patches, water damage repairs and texture matching. Our drywall repair page has more detail.
Licensed electrical and plumbing professionals. We coordinate them with the rest of the trades so the work happens in the correct order.
We document any change in writing as a change order with the scope, cost and schedule impact. We do not start the added work or bill for it until you approve.
